Images from our August 2006 trip to the Yukon. Starting out in Victoria, BC we stayed overnight in Vancouver to observe the 2006 HSBC Celebration of Light. We then headed north through Whistler, Lilloit, 100 Mile House, Smithers, Stewart, then into Hyder, Alaska. Heading back into BC we took Hiway 37 to Deese Lake, Then onto Whitehorse. After spending a couple days in Whitehorse we headed back into Alaska by way of Skagway. This signaled the turning point in our journey. Taking the Alaska Hiway back we passed Liard Hot Springs and Fort Nelson, Fort St. John. We then crossed into Alberta and Jasper, Banff, Back into BC by way of Radium Hot Springs, Trail, Osoyoos, Hope, then back to Vancouver.
